First Step Podiatry operates a cancellation policy to ensure smooth operations and minimise disruption to help protect against wasted time and the ability to book other patients in to reduce waiting times.

If you wish to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice.
Failure to provide this notice may result in the full appointment cost being charged.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can occasionally lead to missed appointments with not being at home and we are understanding to these unavoidable situations. But late cancellations, or failure to be at home at the agreed appointment time can disrupt the daily diary and impact on the Podiatrist’s valuable time and the ability to offer cancellations to other patients and therefore may result in a charge for the missed appointment. This charge would be at the discretion of the Podiatrist.
